Is Everything a sin?
This is a tough subject. Is every wrong choice we make, every bad thing we do, every bad thought a sin? Is every sin equal in the eyes of God? We have a difficult time wrapping our brains around that. It's hard to say that a murderer is the same as a liar. We have to remember that God is perfect and cannot look on sin, any sin.
That is why we must come to Jesus to save us. He is the go-between between humans and God. When God sees us through the blood of Jesus we are white as snow.
I want to address a particular sin, the sin of drunkenness in this blog. I've had questions about this but I think the bible, God's word, is pretty clear.
It is not for me to say what is a sin and what is not although I think I have a pretty good idea. And it is not for me to say that drinking alcohol in moderation is or is not a sin although I know many people who would say so. But I do think that getting drunk is , not only unwise, can be addictive, and causes bad decisions, according to God's word, is a sin.
There are many more scriptures on this subject. I think it is time for us to open our eyes and know what God thinks about sin. It is time to choose who you are going to follow, God or the world?
It may be scary or you may feel that you don't want to give us this "fun" that you are having but I tell you the truth, following God is more joy that you have or ever will experience by following the world.
Questions:
Are you drinking too much?
Is it helping or hurting your life?
Are you being honest with yourself about your drinking?

Proverbs 23:29-35 ESV / 199 helpful votes
Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? Those who tarry long over wine; those who go to try mixed wine. Do not look at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup and goes down smoothly. In the end it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder. Your eyes will see strange things, and your heart utter perverse things. ...
Hebrews 10:26
For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
