The Purpose Of the Lord
Since tomorrow is the 4th of July, I decided to blog today.
When I say that everything is for you, I mean, everything that God allows to happen in your life is for you. However, it may not be for you right now. If you look at Jesus and His disciples you will see that He told them many things and showed them many things that they just didn't understand until much later.
We are the same. We often wonder why certain things are happening to us or to those around us when they make no sense and we can not see what the purpose could possibly be.
I often think that the way I figure it out in my mind would work out just perfectly if only God would do it that way. But I don't have the whole picture.
I don't know what God is doing in my life or the lives of others that will be affected. Whatever happens may not be for me right then but it is for me sometime.
God is ALWAYS drawing me closer, teaching me, guiding me (and you) through everything that happens in our lives. And I do mean everything. Every little thing is cared about by God. He loves you that much. And it doesn't matter if you mess up, He still uses that for your good in the long run.
We need to stop thinking that sermons, issues, books, blogs, and the things that happen too us are not for our good. They are, maybe they are not for you right now, but hang on. You will see the end result in time. You will understand the meaning. You will grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord and King.
What the bible says:
Questions:
Do you tell God what you must have or do you wait on Him?
When bad things happen, do you blame God?
When you hears some sermons, do you think "this one isn't for me, but it sure is for so and so"?

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

What the bible says:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
