Abominations to God
I am 61 years old and the world scares
me. I am not scared for myself because God is with me and He protects me from evil
by His Holy Spirit. I’m scared for those who don’t know Him and for the
generations growing up in this evil and perverse time.
All around we see the signs of the end
of time as we know it. Christ is coming again and all that He has predicted is
coming to pass. It is time for us to know who He has called us to be, what He
wants us to do, and what He despises.
Evil has been since the fall of
Satan and he is working overtime to draw everyone away from God. He is the
enemy of God and evil is his tool. The King James Pure Bible
Search software shows that the word evil appears in the entire Bible 613 times
in 569 verses in 343 chapters in 60 books. (Quora)
Proverbs 6:12-18 speaks so plainly
about evil. It is a clear description of what is happening with people today. These
things have always been, but I believe things are worse now than ever before
not only all over the world or with our leaders, but in our everyday lives with
everyday people. This is because Christ is coming soon. We are in the biggest
war of our lives and we are all soldiers.
Crooked speech: Lying or telling untruths, leaving out information,
and avoiding the truth is a more common pattern of speech today than truth
telling. Even among Christians a little lie to avoid discomfort is considered acceptable. Because of our self-centered attitudes where
everything is about us and for our wellbeing and happiness, lies come out of our
mouths without a twinge of quilt or question.
Consider our leaders, our politicians.
Lying tongues are an abomination to the Lord.
But who tells the truth? How can we know? Our news reporters don’t report the news
anymore, they give their opinions and their predictions for the future. That is
not news and this is not truth.
Famous people, be they athletes or movie
and TV stars, have their opinions to share. They believe their status gives
them insight into what should be done in the world. Why do we listen to these
strangers and take their opinions as our own just because they make a lot of
money and are well known?
Speech that does not line up with
the word of God is crooked speech and should not be listened to. That speech
comes from a worthless and wicked person.
Winks with his eyes: Deals that are made behind doors and in secret are usually
for personal benefit, either financially or otherwise. They take advantage of
people and situations, often hurting others in the process.
These underhanded dealers can be
smooth and convincing. They are charming and we often trust them.
When I was young, we trusted our neighbors. We didn’t lock our house or car doors. We walked to school alone. That is unthinkable today. What a sad state we are in.

Christ never made deals to get out
of uncomfortable situations. He never changed His mind or varied His beliefs.
He didn’t change while He walked this earth and He doesn’t change now. We must
watch ourselves that we don’t become a person who winks in order to become more
profitable, more famous, or more liked. Stand as Jesus did in the word of God
alone.
Signals with his feet: The secret signals of secret societies represent things that
others don’t want known by all. When something is done in secret it is usually
crafty or devious in some way. If not, it would be open for all to see and
enjoy. Signals with feet are under the table, out of the sight of others and
known only to the one watching for the signal.
Devious people are seeking their own
gain through fraud and sly tactics. It is common practice in today’s world to
do what ever it takes to get what you want. Trust is almost a thing of the
past. Christians must work extra hard to follow Christ’s example and do and say
the right things in love. Being sneaking and getting away with something is not
of God. Christ never ran, never hid, and never lied His way out of any
situation.
Points with his finger: Blaming others for problems and not taking responsibility for
actions leads to narcissistic behavior. Narcissist believe they are always right
and others are always wrong. Egomania is rampant especially among people in positions
of authority.
Every choice we make has
consequences but blaming others one of the ways we think we can get out of
them. Putting the blame on someone else is false witness. This is persecution and is often against
Christians. More persecution is coming, and it is time we took it seriously,
arming ourselves with Christ’s armor and standing strong.
Heart devises evil: Once the heart begins devising evil without any compunction
the person is then completely evil and wicked. When evil is not viewed as evil
but as a normal course of action, then evil has full reign and God is not seen
in that heart.
There is no peace for a person whose
heart is perverted to evil thoughts and actions. Evil draws them deeper into
more evil and farther from God. We see this happening in our daily lives and in
the actions of each new generation that thinks only of themselves. Evil is called good and good is called evil. ‘Do
whatever feels good’ is the motto of the world today. We must live in the world but not be of the
world.
Sows discord: There are troublemakers in every generation. Sometimes families and even churches have one
or two members who like to sow discord and cause trouble between the members.
There is no place for this in the kingdom of God. There is no place for this
now as the time draws near for Christ’s return.
Bear one another’s burdens. Love
your neighbor as yourself, not only when they agree with you but always. Love not only your neighbor Christians but all your neighbors. Show the world a better
way to live.
Calamity will come on the worthless and wicked people who do these
things says the Lord and He despises those who do them. To despise something means to loathe and reject it.
People who do these things will be rejected by God. He will be disgusted with them
and view them with contempt.
Misery and disaster are the result
of these actions and God is not mocked. He is the great I Am, and He has said
what He desires of us. He has told us what to expect and He has told us what He
despises. We can live a life in relationship with God or we can turn to our own
evil ways and suffer grievous affliction. The choice is always ours to make.
